Energy UK was set up in 2009 to represent Britain's gas and electricity industry in the media and with key stakeholders including government, consumer organisations and charities.
Energy UK runs campaigns and commissions research on key issues affecting the energy industry and responds to government and media enquiries on behalf of the major electricity and gas companies.
Energy UK shares offices with the Energy Retail Association, which is the trade association for Britain's six major gas and electricity suppliers. We also work closely with other trade associations in the sector, including The Association of Electricity Producers and the UK Business Council for Sustainable Energy.
