Maintaining the highest level of cyber security is a top priority
Following the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport announcing a consultation on the Network and Information Systems (NIS) Directive to help UK operators deal with the increasing number of cyber threats, Energy UK has issued a statement.
Lawrence Slade, chief executive of Energy UK said:
"Maintaining the highest level of security against cyber threats is a top priority for the industry. Energy companies are working together with the Government to identify and counter threats, and to ensure security measures continually evolve so they remain robust.
