These virtual or in-person panel events are free to attend and usually last 1 hour. Aimed at people working in industry, parliamentarians and wider stakeholders, leading experts open the session with their views before widening the discussion with audience Q&A.

Energy UK’s LightningBolt talks bring together people from the worlds of energy, policy, and beyond to share exciting and innovative ways of using data to understand, explain and improve energy in the UK. The challenges the sector faces – from supporting consumers to achieving Net Zero – require fresh thinking and new ways of unlocking the power of information. To spread those ideas, the event hosts time-limited talks from a range of speakers across different policy areas.
