The voice of the energy industry

Is 2021 the biggest year for the Scottish energy industry

Date: Tuesday 23 February 2021
Time: 9:30 – 10:30

2021 is a big year for the energy sector and for Scotland. At the end of last year, the Scottish Government published the updated Climate Change Plan and their Hydrogen Policy Statement. The work to develop the 4th National Planning Framework continues and the draft Public Engagement Strategy is out for consultation. With Scottish Parliament elections on the horizon 2021 is sure to shape the future of the energy industry, in Scotland, Westminster and beyond.

Join us for a discussion on the energy industry in Scotland, the opportunities coming out of the Scottish government’s publications and strategies, the approach to customer engagement, what we need to see in a planning system to help deliver net zero by 2045 and what the election will mean for the future of energy policy, including the ramifications in Westminster.
