In response to the Government’s additional funding for rapid charge-points in England, Energy UK’s chief interim executive, Audrey Gallacher, said:
“Energy UK members are already installing charge-points in homes, businesses and public locations across the country – however this additional funding for ultra-rapid chargers is something we’ve been wanting to see as it will help establish the nationwide charging network that is so essential to the widespread rollout of electric vehicles (EVs) and giving drivers the confidence to switch.”
