Energy UK comments on the CAB claims that Pre-payment customers pay more

The CAB has published data setting out price differentials of pre-payment meters. Following this Lawrence Slade, acting chief executive said:

“The energy industry is committed to delivering fair and competitive services and tariffs to all its customers. Pre-payment meters can help customers manage their finances and can help people who have experienced problems get on top of paying their bills. Suppliers are constantly reviewing their tariffs. We urge customers to shop around for the deal that suits them best.”
