Energy UK is at the forefront of national energy policy development and input from our membership is sought at the most senior political levels. Organisations can attend meetings depending on their category of membership and may be invited to join relevant roundtable discussions at a senior committee level or with Government and other key stakeholders across industry.

Energy UK provides market-leading analysis, reports and regular policy and communication updates to keep our members informed and up-to-date.
- Our members help feed into our policy reports and publications, giving them the opportunity to ensure their views are represented. These reports are shared directly with policy-makers to shape future energy policy.
- We also convene discussions, roundtables and produce reports to share learning and promote good practice across industry, which includes case studies from across our membership. These reports are published and shared widely, giving our members the chance to share the good practice in their organisation as well as the opportunity to learn from others.
- Our weekly member e-newsletter provides a topical overview of the latest developments across the sector, upcoming industry events as well as information about our most recent consultation responses and other activities.
- Our member-only communications and public affairs update is a round-up of everything you need to know about energy politics, from upcoming Parliamentary dates, new consultations being launched and Energy UK’s public affairs engagements.

Training and events
Energy UK events provide a forum for debate and discussion, as well as excellent opportunities to network across the sector. Our events range from conferences and Breakfast Briefings to politically focussed roundtables and panel events.
We also offer training courses for people working in, and new to the energy industry and can organise bespoke sessions for our members. Members receive discounted prices for all Energy UK training and ticketed events, as well as discounts on some other events across industry.
Speaking and editorial opportunities, and brand exposure
We work with our members when shaping events and offer speaking opportunities on relevant topics. We publish member blogs on our website, and regularly reach out to members for case studies and examples of good practice that help to demonstrate innovative work the across industry and how companies are investing in the UK.
