What our members say

Energy UK has been instrumental in helping the industry navigate the choppy waters of 2022. In particular, they have done a great job at representing the industry at the highest level and in the media, and ensuring regular engagement with key stakeholders. Whilst it’s not always easy to bring together such a broad church, they strive to coordinate and support the membership in such a way to ensure the industry’s voice is clear, consistent and understood.

Alice Barrs, Head of UK Policy & Public Affairs, RWE

Energy UK has been outstanding in representing the industry during one of the most turbulent times in the energy sector’s history. The energy security crisis and its impact on the UK and global economy has been profound and Energy UK has worked brilliantly with all parts of the energy industry to represent their views and work with Government and stakeholders in a fast moving and constantly changing environment. They have been very effective and worked tirelessly to support the energy industry, for which we are very grateful!

Drax

Energy UK has had a very successful year in the face of an on-going energy crisis. Not only have they ensured the industry spoke with one voice and has been heard, but they have also had significant policy influence through a period of profound political instability. They have done all this whilst maintaining the reputation of the sector.

National Grid

The number and breadth of its membership mean that Energy UK can talk about the whole system and be forward looking and strategic

Uniper

Energy UK has been an effective voice for energy customers and the companies in the sector at a time where energy – decarbonisation, security and reliability of supply and affordability – has been at the absolute heart of the issues facing the UK. The team at Energy UK has been focused, proactive and employed a mix of diplomacy, advocacy and innovation to persuade the public, opinion formers, policymakers, and their industry members of the need to act and has played a valuable role in designing practical solutions in remarkably short times on a range of dimension.
