Energy UK structure
Members can participate in the development of Energy UK’s policies and our committees and groups, cover the interests of members in different fields.
Energy UK provides market-leading analysis to keep our members informed and up-to-date with regular policy and communication updates. Members can attend meetings depending on their category of membership and may be invited to join relevant discussions at a senior committee level.
The association’s committees hold regular meetings, giving members a chance to discuss latest policy developments and to feed in to Energy UK positions.
Meetings also provide an opportunity for members to seek clarification from government officials and regulators, meet and network. Energy UK shares the work of its committees and groups with all members.
The organisation has a team of knowledgeable and experienced policy staff each of whom has responsibility for one of the areas of Energy UK’s work. They also provide the secretariat to relevant Energy UK committees. Members are welcome to contact policy staff with queries or concerns.

Energy UK works to keeps its members up to date with everything that is going on in the energy sector.
The weekly member e-newsletter provides a topical overview of the latest relevant industry news as well as highlighting what Energy UK has been up to. We also include a news round-up and information about our most recent consultation responses and other activities.
Events & publications
Energy UK runs specially tailored events for members and hosts throughout the year a series of breakfast briefings on topical issues. Membership entitles members to join us for free at our annual Parliamentary Reception at the Palace of Westminster and members also get a discount to other signature events such as our Annual Conference and the Annual Industry Lunch. All Energy UK events provide excellent sponsorship opportunities for partners with an interest in the UK energy sector.
Members and partners can also expect to be featured in our newsletter, which goes to several thousand industry contacts, where you will also find details of all our latest offers and events. We also highlight our forthcoming events on our website.
Energy UK’s offices are located in central London near to Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. The office has Wi-Fi throughout and hot desking facilities are available to members when in London.
