ESB Energy and Green Network Energy have joined the Energy Switch Guarantee (ESG), an industry initiative –set up by Energy UK in 2016 – to make switching simple, speedy and safe for consumers.
Research from the Energy Switch Guarantee, which covers around 85% of the market, has found that seven in 10 (70%) – of those who have heard of the Guarantee – say that it would make them more confident about switching supplier.
Pamela Taylor, Independent Chair of the Energy Switch Guarantee, said:

“Over half a million customers switch supplier on average each month – and as Energy UK’s latest figures show a record 6.4 million moved to a new supplier last year – which makes it even more important to ensure the process is seamless and further increase customers’ confidence in switching.
