Energy UK comments on EEIG energy efficiency infrastructure report

In response to the Energy Efficiency Infrastructure Group’s report on energy efficiency’s offer of a net zero-compatible stimulus and recovery –published today– Energy UK’s interim chief executive, Audrey Gallacher said:

“We’ve long called for a national energy efficiency programme for homes and businesses which would deliver swift returns through cutting bills by hundreds of pounds for customers and reducing emissions to help meet the net zero target. It is also exactly the sort of ambitious infrastructure plan that could help kickstart our economic recovery by creating thousands of skilled jobs and new opportunities for businesses.”
