Chief executives and senior leaders will join people and culture professionals alongside Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) experts at this year’s EDI in Energy Conference to debate and discuss the future of inclusion in the energy industry.
Now in its seventh year, the hybrid event will take place on 24 June 2026, and is supported by Energy UK, the Energy Institute, Energy Networks Association, Offshore Energies UK and RenewableUK. The conference will be held at the fully accessible QEII Conference Centre in Westminster and streamed online.
The EDI in Energy Conference has this year achieved CPD accreditation, allowing delegates to claim formal CPD hours or points for attending that can contribute towards their annual professional development requirements.
The full programme has now been released, and with less than a month to go, people are being encouraged to secure their place now.
The event will once again challenge leaders from trade associations and energy companies in panels chaired by the founders of POWERful Women, Baroness Sandy Verma and Laura Sandys, Chair of Green Alliance and Energy Digitalisation Taskforce.
The 2026 results of TIDE’s Health Index and the energy sector results from the Inclusion Measurement Framework will be released for the conference, alongside an honest discussion around what EDI data can and can’t reveal.
Other highlights include hearing speakers from outside energy, including Premier League football, share their experiences alongside personal perspectives that will reinforce the importance of EDI.
There will also be the opportunity for audience participation, from the interactive ‘Big Respect’ taster training delivered by Enact Solutions to a grand finale discussing tips gathered from attendees throughout the day.
Supporting groups and networks will also be celebrated with organisations including Men for Inclusion, POWERful Women, Pride in Energy and Women’s Utilities Network all present.
Tickets are now available for both in-person and virtual attendance, with discounted in-person rates for members of the partner organisations. As the event is CPD accredited, delegates can class their attendance as training and development.

TIDE (Tackling Inclusion and Diversity in Energy) is a collaboration between energy trade associations. It started as a volunteer-led group in 2022 and, alongside the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in Energy calendar, which marks EDI training, events and days of significance, TIDE hosts the EDI in Energy Hub. This includes resources for EDI / HR and talent development professionals across the sector, as well as individuals looking to find support and people who may be facing similar challenges to them.
TIDE also runs the Health Index, an EDI maturity tool that measures the policies and processes companies have in place and their impact.
