Politicians, senior leaders, policymakers and experts will come together at Energy UK’s 2025 Annual Conference to debate and discuss the most important issues facing the industry today and in the future.
Energy Matters 2025 will take place on Tuesday 14 October 2025 at One Great George Street, Westminster, SW1P 3AA.
Sponsored by E.ON Next, the one-day conference will hear insights from senior politicians and chief executives from across the sector, as well as lively discussions around regulation, clean power, decarbonising demand, strategic supply chains and public sentiment.
Speaking ahead of the event, Energy UK’s CEO Dhara Vyas said:
“Against a backdrop of geopolitical instability, high energy prices and shifting global priorities the vital role of our energy industry has never been clearer. Our future economic success is dependent on a stable, affordable transition to British clean power.
“Companies in our sector deliver an essential service, power nearly every home and business in the nation, and provide hundreds of thousands of good jobs, investing in skills and training in every region of the country.
“Each year our annual conference brings together decision-makers, innovators, and stakeholders from across the energy sector. We’re looking forward to hearing from the most senior political and industry voices focused on unlocking opportunities for growth and improving outcomes for customers.”
With an expert line-up and excellent networking opportunities throughout the day, the conference sells out each year.

Notes to editors
- Energy UK is the trade association for the energy industry, representing companies investing billions of pounds to secure our country’s current and future energy needs. From growing start-ups to major electricity generators, grid and infrastructure developers and energy suppliers, our members are driving change across power, heat, transport and flexibility. We champion initiatives such as our Vulnerability Commitment, which pushes suppliers to go beyond regulation to support customers with additional needs, and TIDE, the industry’s drive for greater inclusion and diversity. Through our Young Energy Professionals Forum, with more than 3,000 members representing 350 organisations, we support the development of future leaders.
- Bringing down the cost of energy bills is a critical part of a fair energy transition and Energy UK has launched a campaign, #BringDownBills, setting out solutions to achieving significant bill savings over the next five years by reducing our reliance on international gas prices, accelerating connections and removing policy costs from electricity bills. Energy UK and its members are committed to bringing down bills and our analysis shows up to £400 in savings per household could be achieved from our recommendations.
