The shortlist for the annual Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Awards has been announced today.
The YEP Awards, now in their eleventh year, celebrate the achievements of rising stars with less than 10 years’ experience in the energy sector.
Industry experts will judge the awards across nine categories, from Rising Star to Customer Champion. And two brand new categories – Communications and Engagement and Supply Chain Innovator – will recognise those who have used communications to benefit their company or the energy industry and those who have delivered results through their work in the supply chain.
The winners will be announced at the YEP Forum’s award ceremony at Hilton London Bankside on Thursday 6 November 2025. Tickets are available individually or in tables of 10, and discounts are available for students and charity employees. More information about the event and ticket purchasing is available are here.

The YEP Forum, hosted by Energy UK and sponsored by NESO, is a network which provides opportunities for the next generation of energy industry leaders to meet, collaborate, develop and recognise success. The Forum organises numerous events and site visits throughout the year, but its flagship event is the YEP Awards – a prestigious evening to honour outstanding individuals in the sector.
Sponsoring an award includes a table of ten, and some opportunities are still available. If you would be interested in discussing this or our wider sponsorship opportunities, please contact membership@energy-uk.org.uk.
