Energy UK comments on Treasury’s £57 million investment in jobs and green growth in Scotland

Responding to HM Treasury’s announcement of a £57 million investment in jobs and green growth in Scotland, Emma Pinchbeck, Energy UK’s chief executive said:

“The energy sector will play a central role in enabling us to reach the net zero target and in doing so will support a Green Recovery creating jobs, investment and growth opportunities right across the country. Scotland has always been a powerhouse in the UK energy industry and in the year that Glasgow hosts COP26, this investment is welcome as the country looks to continue that tradition by embracing the energy transition and building on its expertise and skills.”
