Responding to the announcement of further details on the Government’s Green Home Grants scheme, Energy UK’s chief executive Emma Pinchbeck said:
“Improving the energy efficiency of our homes will benefit customers by making them healthier and more comfortable to live in and cutting hundreds of pounds off bills – while also reducing emissions and creating local and skilled jobs. We hope as many customers as possible can take advantage of the scheme.
“Energy efficiency must play an essential part in our Green Recovery and shows how focussing on the net-zero target can generate widespread economic, environmental and societal benefits.”
