April 2026 is set to see significant changes to energy bills. The Q2 2026 price cap, reduction measures announced in the Autumn Budget, as well as rising network costs will all influence the typical household energy bill.

Energy UK produced the below slide deck to brief MPs, charities, trade bodies and media on incoming changes to the bill in April. They outline how savings as a result of Government intervention last November are likely to vary significantly across households, depending on fuel use, consumption and payment method.
