Executive Summary
The principle for bill discounts on transmission network infrastructure is supported by Energy UK, as it was when it was first proposed in the Planning and Infrastructure Bill. Away from the more macro principles however, much of this scheme’s success will rely on delivery through suppliers. This also leads to a critical point, which is that this scheme must be considered in the relation to supplier cost recovery.
